Using Leaky Shed on a Pocket Page

Hi Leaky Shed Studio fans!  Christine joining you today with a fun pocket page! Have you ever used Leaky Shed Studio goodies in a Pocket Page?  I tried it out this month and it worked great!  

I created a pocket page that shows my daughter dressed up as Snow White at Disneyland.  I had a plan laid out in mind with the castle and title but I knew I needed something to add as a focal point for a picture of her!  I ended up cutting out a picture of her and adding the Circle Arch Doily Frame around her picture.

  

After painting it white, I cut it so that it would fit in two pockets.  I love how it adds some different texture and dimension to the whole thing and really brings the eye to her picture first!

Leaky Shed Bo Bunny Team Up Jingle

Leaky Shed and Bo Bunny are teaming up all December long to inspire you with fabulous projects and products!

My layout features our brand new grand daughter who is my favorite little elf this season.  Her little elf hat was perfect for

the Bo Bunny Candy Cane Lane Collection!  I first spritzed my background paper with Bo Gold Glimmer Spray!

I layered a couple of different papers from the collection and then added gorgeous chipboard products from Leaky Shed!

I used the large snowflake border and snowflake corner.

I painted the chipboard white and then added Bo Bunny Glitter paste.  So easy to use and adds just the right amount of sparkle!  After I added my chipboard to my page, I then added the layered chipboard Santa Frame to my page along with the title cut with my Silhouette.  I added just a bit of Bo Bunny Double Dot Jewels to add a bit of sparkle to my baby girls page!

Best Day Ever with Leaky Shed Designs

Welcome to the Leaky Shed blog!  We are so happy you are here.  Its Cathy hosting the blog today and I have a layout to share with you using two of Leaky Sheds gorgeous chipboard designs. I love that Leaky Sheds designs are easy to layer...something us scrapbookers love.  I chalked the Large Ring Frame with grey and black chalk and then add just a bit of water to my applicator to blend.  The frame was the perfect accent and additional layer to put behind my photo.  Love the intricate designs of this frame. It added   interest and detail to the layout. 
Next, I chalked the new Fern flourish with gold chalk and blended just a bit with water too!  All I had to do was wait for it to dry and layer over my photo.

Naked Leaky Shed Studio Veronica Johnson

Hi Veronica here today to share with you some Naked chipboard flowers.  Did I get your attention?  Good :)  I wanted to show you today that you do not always have to alter your chipboard.  They are perfectly cut to show the utmost detail and look pretty just as they are.

I used these beautiful Springtime Flowers and what is clearly one of my favorites the watch parts.

Notice the fine detail in the chipboard.  I wanted to make some natural, rustic tags.  At least that is what I had in mind when I started.  I knew I wanted to add burlap and fabric, then I added some lace and the whole look changed.

 

 

By adding the lace - I felt my tag was more "shabby", so I went with it and added flowers, jewels and of course some white paint.

 

I was in the "zone" so I went ahead and made a second tag with the same color scheme; except this time pronounced the yellow rather than the green.

BoBunny and Leaky Shed Studio Team Up Fa La La

Its Veronica here and just want to say that I am definitely in the mood for Christmas.  My Christmas tree is up, my presents are wrapped and yes, my cards are sent.  

I really enjoyed making this layout with BoBunny and I loved using BoBunnys new products especially their new glitter paste. Today I am excited to share a layout I created for our SWAP using Leaky Shed Studios Poinsettia Corner  and also the Moroccan Border Chipboard.  I chose the BoBunny Christmas Collage Collection for my layout.

The BoBunny Christmas Collage Collection inspired me to make a layout with a shabby vintage feel to it.

I used BoBunnys glitter paste, and copics to make my Poinsettia Chipboard shine

I stenciled some Art Anthology paint and painted my Moroccan Border with shades of brown to match my stencil pattern.  Then I used lots of BoBunny glitter gold paste and sprayed some silver mist on my page

I also added the gold glitter paste to my flowers.  Does it show I really LOVE the BoBunny glitter paste?

To give my layout that vintage shabby look, I distressed my paper

Create Home Decor Banners with Leaky Shed Studio

Hi its me  Veronica also known as Kitsnbitscraps.  Today is my first post here on the Leaky Shed Studio Blog and I am so excited  to be a part of this fabulous company and a Design Team member.

A little bit about me, I LOVE chipboard!  Leaky Shed Studio has so many to choose from.  I know that you will find what you need - no matter the theme of your layout, card, tag or album.  Speaking of albums, I love to make them but I have been asked numerous times to make some layouts and other altered items.  So for today I am sharing this pretty banner with my favorite inspiring words - Create!

I used the Pennant Banner along with the Fancy Lower Case Alphabets.

Below are some step-out photos of my process in creating this pretty banner.  Banners are easy and so fun to make - they make G R E A T gifts.  I just made two for a wedding and a brides luncheon.

First ... I painted my chipboard using regular acrylic black paint

Then I covered the pennants with pretty paper ...

I wanted the ruffle chipboard to be different so I added some black glass glitter with glue ...

 

 

 

Turned out chunky - I like chunky and bonus its glittery.  Next I used my lower case alphas and painted them white

 

 

 

And repeat .... more glitter

 

 

I used alcohol inks on the "garden butterfly" and the "Butterfly on Garden Sprig" to color in the chipboard.  I also added a touch of acrylic paint for highlights.  Then I embossed the pieces with clear embossing power.  So pretty ...
